A study from Vienna explored how active vitamin D enhances the anti-neoplastic effects of calcium in colorectal cancer. Quantitative analysis of Ki67-stained colon sections revealed reduced proliferation and highlighted the role of the calcium-sensing receptor in CRC prevention.
