Lin et al. investigated the UHRF1/DNMT1–MZF1 axis and its effect on CpG methylation of protease serine 3 isoforms in lung cancer. Using 7-marker multiplex staining with TissueFAXS SPECTRA and StrataQuest, they differentiated isoforms showing paradoxical effects.
