Dr. Andrea Papadopoulos and Trevor Khaba, Ndhlovu group, AHRI, present their latest work on finding and characterizing hidden HIV reservoirs. By utilizing the TissueFAXS Spectra multispectral slide scanner and TissueQuest analysis software, they show that germinal centers (GC) are main HIV reservoir sites and that some CD8+ T cells do not infiltrate the GC and often lack cytolytic responses.
