Striosomes Mediate Value-Based Learning Vulnerable in Age and a Huntington's Disease Model

A Cell study from MIT reveals that striosomes in the striatum are key for value-based learning, linking selective neural activity to decision-making. Using TissueFAXS SL Q+, researchers showed age and Huntington’s disease disrupt these circuits, impairing learning and motivation.
