Algorithmic automation of bone research with StrataQuest
Researchers from the Medical University of Vienna developed an automated algorithm in StrataQuest to detect and quantify osteoclasts in cell culture. The workflow replaces manual counting of TRAP-positive multinucleated cells with automated image analysis, providing faster, reproducible measurements of osteoclast number, nuclei count, and cell area for bone research and drug screening studies.

Spatial Neutrophil Distribution in Damaged Skeletal Muscle
Du et al published a study in the International Journal of Legal Medicine, addressing the spatial distribution of neutrophils in skeletal muscle contusion. TissueFAXS and StrataQuest were used to detect marker positive cells within the IHC processed tissue samples.
