Zika Virus

UNRAVELING POTENTIAL ENTRY MECHANISMS FOR VIRUSES

A recent publication (August 2020) in the journal Nature Communications examines possible entry mechanisms of Zika virus (ZIKV). The research groups from USA and China were able to identify NCAM1 as a potential receptor for ZIKV entry. ZIKV infected cells were detected by a specific IF staining and were visualized with TissueFAXS.

Webinar TissueGnostics DeNovo

WEBINAR: ADVANCING TISSUE CYTOMETRY FROM IMAGE TO RESULTS

TissueGnostics and De Novo Software have begun a collaboration by combining their expertise in Image Cytometry. This educational webinar showcases a streamlined workflow that enables researches to quickly obtain publication-ready results from IF/IHC processed tissue sections.

Calcium Sensing Receptor

CALCIUM SENSING RECEPTOR AS POTENTIAL TARGET FOR COLON CANCER THERAPY

Published in the journal Biochimica et Biophysica Acta, this research was conducted within the EU-funded Marie Skłodowska-Curie CaSR Biomedicine Training Network, led by a group from MedUni Vienna with TG as industry partner. TissueFAXS and TissueQuest were used to analyze expression of markers within mouse xenograft tumors.

TissueFAXS Q Platform

EXPERIENCE WHOLE SLIDE HIGH-RESOLUTION IMAGING

The confocal TissueFAXS systems are a highly flexible scanning platform which provide the benefits of both laser-free fast high-resolution imaging and high-throughput slide scanning. The TissueFAXS Q series delivers automated whole slide confocal imaging as well as single cell analysis (TissueQuest) and contextual tissue cytometry (StrataQuest).

Tumor Associated Macrophages

PHENOTYPING IN MESENCHYMAL GLIOBLASTOMA

Research groups from South Korea, Italy, China and USA published a comprehensive study in Genome Biology, investigating the role of regulatory networks of tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) in mesenchymal glioblastoma. Markers associated with TAMs were assessed using the TissueFAXS platform and analyzed using HistoQuest.
